Jungheinrich Digital Solutions provides software applications for intralogistic workflows. I'm currently leading a team of six software engineers working on our fleet management software. This could-based web-application provides a holistic view on our B2B-customers fork lift truck fleets. My team focuses on the operating hours and truck cost reporting features.

Conntac is a software company providing self-service solutions for telecommunications companies. I took a leading role in implementing new features in their existing mobile app and backend servers. I also created a product from scratch (including app and backend) to increase safety for technicians working in remote locations. Central part of my position was communication with our business customers to discuss features and functionalities as well as bargaining project deadlines.

Next to my full-time job at Fielmann, I had the opportunity to support a startup as a freelance software engineer. I re-built and consolidated the companie's cloud infrastructure, applying best practices like infrastructure as code and full automation via CI/CD.

Fielmann AG in Hamburg is Europe’s largest optician. I joined Fielmann as a junior full-stack software engineer focused on domain driven, cloud-based software solutions. Main project I have worked on is an internal- and customer-facing web-application for selling/bying contact lenses.

October 2016 - April 2017
I conducted my master thesis "Collision-based Particle Simulations on GPUs" at the German Areospace Center. I created a discrete element simulation toolkit named "Partsival" for simulating soil for optimizing Mars rover wheels. By leveraging GPU computing, simulations are sped up significantly. Partsival is in active use with couple of publications and already yielded insights for current and upcoming space missions.

Adding more depth to my knowledge from my previous studies. I focused on database technologies, multi-core and GPU-programming, software architecture, game programming, UI/UX and more. Highlight was my master thesis conducted at the German Aerospace Center (see above).

After getting my degree of higher education, I started to study computer science in the same year. Besides a lot of interesting projects (including AI and machine learingn), my most remarkable project was my bachelor thesis "Generic N-Body Simulation Engine with GPU Support" where I entered the real of scientific simulations and general-purpose computing on GPUs (GPGPU).
